Why Give?

A strong foundation begins with you. The North Carolina Dental Society Foundation is the affiliated ‍501(3)(c) charity of the Society, dedicated to MOM clinics, children’s initiatives, grants to local clinics and so much more! Across the state, dental professionals are committing themselves to better oral health for North Carolinians via the Foundation – through donations, volunteering time and providing services to those in need – over 75,000 patients at this point!

In addition to traditional methods of giving, the Foundation offers other vehicles such as a gifts of stock and planned gifts, including bequests, life insurance policies and charitable trusts, which can offer donors tax savings while making a significant contribution to the Foundation. There are many ways to get involved in the work of the Foundation and its charitable programs.

What is the Circle of Care?

Through the Foundation’s Circle of Care monthly giving program, you can donate $100/month, helping our Foundation make a difference all year long. You can give a one-time gift, contribute in installments, or make a gift in honor of your colleagues, staff, family or friends! We appreciate your generosity in helping us help others.

Give to the NCDS Foundation Tribute Garden

Get involved in our new initiative and make a dedication to honor a colleague, mentor, or friend of dentistry that has made an impact on your career. Dedications support ongoing NCDSF programs like our Missions of Mercy (MOM) free dental clinics, scholarships for dental assisting and dental hygiene students, and community grants for organizations and clinics expanding access to care.
